The Info Trade Fair and Exhibition 2010 opened here on Thursday,
demonstrating world brands and innovative products.
The five-day long trade fair, organized by the Information Communication and
Technology Association of Nepal (ICT), was inaugurated by a Nepali robot named
"Development Nepali", developed by Nepali students of Pulchwork Engineering
College, Robotics Club.
The exhibition features 110 stalls displaying various innovative IT products
from brands such as Acer, Intel and Microsoft.
According to the organizer, the main attraction of the exhibition is "micro
laptop notebook" worth about 90 U.S. dollars. The product is targeted to those
students who cannot afford professional laptop. The organizer said that they
have already received more than 50,000 phone calls inquiring about the
notebook.
The organizer has expected 300,000 visitors to turn up during five-day long
fair. |
